Since its inception, the foundation has helped over 137,000 families by providing access to McGrath Breast Care Nurses. These nurses play a vital role in guiding patients through the many stages of their diagnosis and treatment, offering emotional, physical, and practical support.
The McGrath Foundation’s mission is simple yet powerful: ensure that every family in Australia has access to a McGrath Breast Care Nurse, regardless of where they live or their financial situation. Currently, there are over 200 McGrath Breast Care Nurses across Australia, and the foundation aims to increase that number to 250 by 2025. The impact of these nurses cannot be overstated.
